What I learned from Tabligh?
“This dunya is like a shadow. If you try to catch it, you will never be able to do so. If you turn your back towards it, it has no choice but to follow you.”
The Story of Abu Ayub Ansari R.A.-Lesson for the Ummah.
Abu Ayub Ansari R.A. was lying in bed at the age of 96.
It was announced, “O people, go forth in the path of Allah. Abu Ayyub Ansari asked his companions,” Shall I go out with you in the way of Allah? “
The companions of the Prophet explained a lot to him. He will not be able to walk with them because of his old age and weakness.
He did not agree to such an excuse.
Ayub Ansari said, “Only one verse of the Qur’an, that can’t keep me away from the path of Allah. Whether you are light or heavy, and go out in the way of Allah with your wealth and life, is that better for you if you understand?”
This Companion of the Prophet said to his companions, “Bury my body somewhere far away.”
He said to his companions before his death, “On the Day of Judgment, I can tell Allah that I have walked in your path while I am alive. And my body has walked in your path even after death.”
Allah has accepted the prayer of Ayub Ansari R.A.
And so today His grave is in the Istanbul, far from the Arab world.
বাংলাঃ
“এই দুনিয়া একটা ছায়ার মত। তুমি যদি একে ধরার চেষ্টা করো, তুমি কখনোই তা পারবে না। তুমি যদি এর দিক থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে তোমাকে অনুসরণ করা ছাড়া এর কোন উপায় নেই।“
সাহাবারা এই সত্য উপলব্ধি করেছিলেনঃ
আবু আইয়ুব আনসারী ৯৬ বছর বয়সে অসুস্থ হয়ে বিছানায় শুয়ে ছিলেন। ঘোষণা করা হয়েছিল যে, হে মানুষ তোমরা আল্লাহর পথে বের হও। আবু আইয়ুব আনিসারী তার সাথীদের জিজ্ঞেস করলেন আমিও তোমাদের সাথে আল্লাহর রাস্তায় বের হবো। সাহাবীরা অনেক বুঝিয়ে দিল তুমি দুর্বল। অসুস্থ হলে সেটা অজুহাত নয়। আইয়ুব আনসারী বলেন কোরআনের একটি আয়াত আমাকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিরত রাখতে পারবে না। তোমরা হালকা হও বা ভারী হও, আর বের হও আল্লাহর পথে তোমাদের ধন–সম্পদ ও জীবন নিয়ে, এটাই তোমাদের জন্য উত্তম যদি তোমরা বুঝ?
৯৬ বছর বয়সে আল্লাহর রাস্তায় বের হয়ে আমার সাথীদের বললাম আমি মারা গেলে আমার লাশটা আল্লাহর রাস্তায় নিয়ে এসো দূর থেকে আমাকে কবর দিও কাল কেয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহ রাব্বুল আলামিনকে বলিও হে আল্লাহ আমি যখন জীবিত ছিলাম তখন তোমার পথে হাটছিলাম, আর মরে গেলে আমার লাশটাও তোমার পথে হাটছিল। আবু আইয়ুব আনসারীর কবর তুরস্কের ইস্তাম্বুলে। আল্লাহ আমাদের সকলকে মহান দ্বীনের ও মেহনতের জন্য কবুল করুন। *আমিন
