These jamats will inshaAllah be in Kinshasa very soon.
In addition, 34 jamats moving on foot from various Provinces as mentioned in the previous report (the above jamats approximately 33) and now a total of 67 jamats are on the move towards the site of the Ijtema.
Among of all the 67 jamats moving towards the Ijtema Ground, thousands of kilometres away, most of them are “Paidal” (on foot Jamat). And amazingly is the fact that only 2 of these 67 jamats are consist of Foreigners while the rest comprise of only local Africans.
This is what our Elders, Hazrat Molana Umar Palanpuri and Hazrat Shaykh Inam ul Hassan (rah) wished. They used to reproach us about this, whenever we went for the Biennial Mashwara (2 Yearly Mashwara) in Nizamuddin.
Today we see the Fikr and Nehej of our Elders are being realised. They used to remind us every time, “Where are the local Africans ? You are our Indian people”. They used to tease us by saying : “We have made Africa into a place ‘Aao, Firo, Kao’. Instead of ‘Aao, Firo’, Akhiraat Kamaao”.
We ask forgiveness from Allah Ta’ala for underestimating the potential of local Africans in every sense. By Allah we can never match them. Where they go in the nook and corner of Africa we cannot go. No lights, no water. We have lost the qualities of the Qarn-e Awwal (early generation). Unlike Utbah ibn Nafi (ra) said when he reached the western coast of Africa he spurred on his horse into the ocean and said, “O Allah, if I knew there was land ahead I would take my horse there.”
Yes, we have lost the qualities of Qarn-e Awwal. We must go and learn it from our African brothers. Our elders like Shaykh Inam ul Hassan (rah) used to tell us, “Go and harvest your Jannah by in Africa”. We do not have their abilities. If we look at their scanty means with which they go in the path of Allah and the provisions they carry for the long journey to the Ijtema Ground, hardly any of us will go in the path of Allah Ta’ala. We must learn Yaqeen from our the Africans. By instigating, advocating and encouraging them, inshaAllah, will be our means to jannah.
Luxuries have dried up our tears. If we want to learn how to cry for this Deen for which our Elders, the Sahabaah, have spilled their blood, please come to Africa.
Please make a lot of Duas. May Allah Ta’ala accept the Qurbani of 5 Foreign brothers who passed away while making efforts for the Deen to spread in DR Congo – Central Africa.
May Allah Ta’ala accept the efforts and Qurbani for this Ijtema, aameen.
