Suddenly it felt that we were in the Nizamuddin Markaz, surrounded by all the elders and dignitaries from the time of Yusuf Kandhalvi (RA) and Inamul Hasan Kandhalvi (RA).
There was Maulana Mustaqim Sahib (a little mellowed with age, but the fire was still there in his speech), Maulana Chiraguddin Sahib (the live work of Rajasthan), Hafez Manzur Sahib, (Amir Maharashtra, a little Infirm but still moving), Maulana Shawkat Sahib, Abdul Alim Sahib all were solidly behind Hazratji.
The big room where they were kept had the smell and fragrance of Nizamuddin. Also there (known as Room 12) were members of the Nizamuddin Tajwiz Jamaat.
But a minute later, we feel this is Markaz Sri Petaling in Kuala Lumpur. The whole Nizamuddin has descended here. Then the mood changes. We find foreign guests from all over the world. Not new brothers, but all old workers, elders, shura, amir etc.
Now we are getting fragrance of Tongi Ijtema. (1) Abdur Rahman Khan, (2) Aabir Rashid along with shura of North America, (3) Shabbir Daji Sahib with shura of England and 500 Zimmadar, (4) Wisam Tabara shura of France, (5) American friends like Abdul Wadud, Belal, Abdul Badi etc, (6) Abdurrashid North of Durban South Africa, (7) Ishaq Tijani with his shura of Nigeria, (8) Sheikh Omar of Turkey, (9) Sheikh Omar of Kenya, (10) Sheikh Bashir amir of Morroco, (11) Shura of Ethiopia, (12) Ulama jamat from Muritania, (13) Dr. Sohail shura from Tunisia, (14) Dr. Zahab amir of Sudan, (15) Brother Jahni with a Jamaat from Libya, (16) Maulana Sohel brother of Maulana Ehsan Sahib from Riwand Markaz, Pakistan, (17) Maulana Haroon Qureshi from pindi, with a jamat of 70 brothers. So many Saudi friends, and many other Arab country people, Algeria, Tunisia, Bahrain, etc.
It was if we were in the middle of Tongi Ijtema. Brothers with different languages and colors, different attire, all we’re mingling together with great joy and happines. But no…..this is Malaysia.
Due to untiring sacrifices of our Malaysian shura, elders, Ulama, old workers, we gathered with our beloved Hazratji. People came from all over the world just to see, hear and be with Hazratji. It is like a grand reunion of old workers. May Allah reward our Malaysian brothers for making it happen.
So the next gathering in a much larger scale will be at Tongi, Bangladesh on 20,21,22 January 2023. Which Hazratji himself announced for brothers of all countries to participate in large numbers and to act as hosts not as guests.
