Alhamdulillah with the kindness of ALLAH Taâlâ we have the opportunity of being present at the world Ijtimaa’ in Tongi, Bangladesh held over the weekend from the 20th January.
The electricity of the atmosphere here is very difficult to put into words.
Alhamdulillah over a million brothers have attended the Ijtimaa’ and close to 2 million locals were present for the Jumuah Salaah.
Alhamdulillah at present there are around 9 and half thousand brothers from foreign countries at the Ijtimaa’.
Targheeb was given in the Mashurah at the start of the Ijtimaa’ by Hazrat Maulana Muhammed Yusuf Khandelwi saheb ,the son of Hazrat Maulana Muhammed Saad saheb and the first bayaan of the Ijtimaa’ was given by Hazrat Maulana Faaruq saheb of Bombay .
Alhamdulillah Hazrat Maulana Usmaan saheb who was the Shaikhul Hadeeth of Madinah Munawwarah , Hazrat Maulana Abdus Sattaar saheb of Nizaamuddeen, Bhai Waasiful Islam saheb of Bangladesh and many others from our elders of Nizaamuddeen and different parts of the world also shared greatly beneficial advices at the Ijtimaa’ .
From Niger to Kuwait, from Canada to Brunei, from Bahrain to Sri Lanka ,from Thailand to Turkey, to brothers from across the globe, Alhamdulillah we had the opportunity to meet and listen to their amazing kaarguzaaris and the ahwaal and conditions of their countries .
Alhamdulillah we also had the good fortune to meet the Zimmedaars and responsible brothers of the different countries, many of whom have spent their entire lives in the path of ALLAH Taâlâ .
Alhamdulillah we also had the opportunity to have meals in the company of the Ameer of Tableegh of Afghanistan and the Zimmedaars of the different areas of Kabul, Kandahar and Jalalabad ( Afghanistans Jalalabad ).
Something which really touched me was when one of them would mention the blessed name of our beloved Nabi e Kareem sallallaahu alayhi wasallam, they would lower their heads and all would immediately send salawaat upon Nabi e Kareem sallallaahu alayhi wasallam .
Advices were given to the Ulamaa this morning with around 10 thousand Ulamaa present and all at the time of tashkeel stood up and made niyyat to strive in the path of ALLAH Taâlâ .
Alhamdulillah 80 brothers from the blessed land of Quds also attended the Ijtimaa’ .
The Zimmedaars of the different countries also made niyyat to InshaaALLAH send Jamaats to our country of South Africa .
Alhamdulillah last night the Qaafla of Markaz Nizaamuddeen including the 3 sons of Hazrat Maulana Muhammed Saad saheb visited each room of the international Shura present at the Ijtimaa, to meet the Zimmedaars of the different countries and request duaas.
Our Hazrat Haji Abdur Rasheed saheb made their ikraam with zam zam and gave them his duaas .
Beautiful and heartwarming reportbacks were heard but at the same time tears could not be withheld when I listened to the heartbreaking kaarguzaari of an Aalim of Burma of the haalaat and conditions there and the Zulm and oppression taking place on our Muslims in Burma .
May ALLAH Taâlâ remove their difficulty ameen .
Such a large amount of people having gathered on the nisbat and connection of Imaan and the love of ALLAH Taâlâ and Nabi e Kareem sallallaahu alayhi wasallam with the fikar of Sahaabah e Kiraam how deen can come alive in our lives and the lives of the whole Ummat is truly overwhelming .
The final duaa of the Ijtimaa will take place shortly InshaaALLAH .
May ALLAH Taâlâ accept the Ijtimaa and make it a means of the hidaayat of the whole aalam ameen
May ALLAH Taâlâ make our men like the men of Sahaabah e Kiraam, our women like the women of Sahaabah e Kiraam and our children like the children of Sahaabah e Kiraam ameen.
