The lives and achievements of the Sahabah (male companions) & Sahabiyat (female companions) during the time of the Prophet (P.B.U.H) give us an insight into the depth and breadth of the role of man & women in Islam. Their faith, courage and steadfastness are inspirational for this Ummah until the last day of Duniyaa. The generation of the Companions was exceptional in righteousness, jihad, da’wah, and supporting the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. They had numerous virtues and great characteristics. Through them, Allah supported the religion, and Allah made them victorious because of Islam. We may not find Abu Bakr (RA), Fatima bint Muhammad (رضي الله عنہا) in our ummah today, but we can at least sincerely make them and the other Companions our role models, in such a way that it is personified in our lives. And without doubt, there will be no better role models than them. And nothing compared with them.
By following them properly, we may get a little fragrance from their lifestyle. The following mentioned Masturat are an example among us, even in this era.
This is the true story A male colleague of Masturat Jamaat, India (Chennai, Tamil Nadu) passed away last week in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
We belong to Allah and to Him we return. On January 29, 2023 there was a funeral prayer after Maghrib salat in Tongi Maidan, Bangladesh. Let’s talk regarding this:
(1) When that group came on a trip to Bangladesh, both husband and wife consulted together. Now we are walking in the path of Allah. If one of us dies, we will be buried where we die. After the death of the husband, his wife was asked where to bury him. He said that death has come in the way of Allah, so bury it here.
(2) The women of the neighborhood went to pray for this sister, but after meeting them, they said that today they have gone, tomorrow I have to go. So we are not ready to go where we don’t want to go. He has been martyred in the way of Allah, Alhamdulillah, this is a great achievement for me.
(3) When he felt sick, he went to his wife and consulted her. That we buy tickets and go back. So the wife says, when the jamaat time is over, we will go back together with the jamaat. And if we die, it will be in the way of Allah.
(4) After his death, the companions of the congregation asked his wife if she wanted to see her husband for the last time and she replied that no, we will meet him only once in heaven. May Allah forgive him and grant him the highest place in Jannah Firdaus, Amen.
Lessons learned from her story:
I learnt that bravery is not only jumping into the face of danger yourself for the betterment of many, but also letting you step ahead into danger for a good cause. As a mother or as a wife we may sacrifice ourselves but can never do like this…

ہم اللہ کے ہیں اور اسی کی طرف لوٹتے ہیں۔ 29 جنوری 2023 کو بنگلہ دیش کے ٹونگی میدان میں نماز مغرب کے بعد نماز جنازہ ادا کی گئی۔ آئیے اس حوالے سے بات کرتے ہیں:
*اس کے پیروکاروں کی مذہبی حالت یہ ہے:*
1۔ جب وہ جماعت بنگلہ دیش کے سفر پر آئی توان دونوں میاں بیوی نے مل کر مشورہ کیا۔ اب ہم اللہ کے راستے میں چل رہے ہیں۔ اگر ہم میں سے کوئی ایک بھی مر گیا تو ہمیں وہیں دفنایا جائے گا جہاں ہم مریں گے۔ شوہر کی موت کے بعد ان کی اہلیہ سے پوچھا گیا کہ ان کو کہاں دفن کیا جائے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ اللہ کی راہ میں موت آئی ہے یہیں دفن کریں۔
2. محلے کی عورتیں اس بہن کو تصلی دینے گئی تھیں، لیکن وہ ان سے ملنے کے بعد انھوں کہا آج وہ گئے ہیں، کل مجھے جانا ہے۔ اس لیے ہم وہاں جانے کے لیے تیار نہیں ہیں جہاں ہمیں جا نا ہے۔ وہ اللہ کی راہ میں شہید ہوئے ہیں، الحمدللہ یہ میرے لیے بہت بڑی کامیابی ہے۔
3. جب وہ بیمار محسوس کرنے لگے تو اپنی بیوی کے پاس گئے اور اپنی بیوی سے مشورہ کیا۔ کہ ہم ٹکٹ خرید کر واپس چلتے ہیں۔ تو بیوی کہتی ہیں، جب جماعت کا وقت پورا ہو گا تو ہم جماعت کے ساتھ ساتھ واپس جائیں گے۔ اور اگر ہماری موت ہے تو اللہ کی راہ میں ہوگی۔
4. ان کی وفات کے بعد، جماعت کے ساتھیوں نے ان کی بیوی سے پوچھویا کہ کیا وہ آخری بار اپنے خاوند کو دیکھنا چاہتی ہیں تو انہوں جواب دیا تھا کہ نہیں ہم ان سے ایک بار ہی جنت میں جاکر ہی ملیں گے۔
*اللہ ان کی مغفرت فرمائے اور جنت فردوس میں اعلٰی مقام عطاء فرمائے آمین*
