5 Tablighi brothers from Ibadan were kidnapped on last May 21, 2023, while they were leaving from Kano State Ijtema (From May 18-21, 2023). On the day of abduction, 5 Tablighi brother were seen leaving the Kano State Ijtema.

Family immediately notified the police. After 50 days later they returned to their local Markaz Masjid on July 10, 2023 (Monday). Victim family & local Tablighi brothers are so glad that missing person has been found safe. First we thank to Allah SWT & everyone for their assistance.
