World Largest Bhopal Alami Ijtema December 2023 Update | Ban on Pakistani Jamaats

Almi Tablighi Ijtema will start from December 8 in Entkhedi, the capital of Bhopal. Jamaats from India and abroad will be included in these. More than 10 lakh Muslims will gather between 8th and 11th December, 2023. It is one of the third largest religious congregations in the world. This time the Ijtima will be held after a month due to Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. There will be a ban on Pakistani Jamaats. Muslim religious leaders will deliver sermons in the Ijtema.

The dates of Ijtema have been announced from World Tabligh Markaz Delhi. The Ijtema will begin Friday after Fajr prayer on December 8, 2023. This four-day long program will conclude on December 11 with a special duaa by World Tablighi Amir Shaykh-ul-Hadith Hazrat Ji Ra’abe Maulana Muhammad Sa’ad Bin Harun Bin Yusuf Bin Ilyas As-Siddiqi Al-Kandhlawi db. Alami Tablighi Ijtema spokesperson Atiq ul Islam said that top Ulemas of the country will be invited to address this four-day religious gathering. Hundreds of people from India and abroad will participate in this event. He said, considering the ever increasing number of congregations, it is estimated that this year more than 10 lakh people will participate in the Ijtema. Spokesperson Islam said that preparations for the event will start soon. For this, the works of cleaning the Ijtimagah located at Brick Khedi Ghasipura, pipeline etc. will be done first. After this, the work of setting up roads, electricity, water and pandals etc will be started. Letters are being sent to different government departments for various preparations.

The Alami Tablighi Ijtema held in Bhopal is included among the third largest religious gatherings in the world . The largest congregation takes place in Mecca and Medina during Hajj. Where about 40 lakh people gather, whereas the Alami Tablighi Ijtima held in Bangladesh is considered big events in terms of the number of people attending. This will be the 77th year of Alami Ijtema in Bhopal.

Ban on Pakistan’s Jamaat:

Jamaats from all over the world participate in the Alami Tablighi Ijtema. These include countries like Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, South Africa, Jordan, Afghanistan, Canada, America etc., but due to bad relations with Pakistan, the Jamaats here have been banned for the last several years. Atiq ul Islam said that this restriction will continue this year also.

This is how Ijtima started in Bhopal:

Ijtema is an Arabic word. It means gathering of many people at one place. Ijtema in Bhopal was started in 1947 at Masjid Shakur Khan with just 12 or 14 people. After 2 years it started being performed in Tajul Masjid. When the number of people coming to it started increasing in lakhs and the mosque campus started looking small. Then in the year 2015, it was shifted to Ghasipura near Brickkhedi on Berasia Road. Since then it is being installed here.
