It already very clear by the Statements of Home Minister Asaduzzaman, who came up with the development after a meeting with two Tabligh groups – Jubair and Wasif and declared that “The first phase of the congregation will be held for Jubair group, he added..”
The first phase will be held from February 2 to February 4 and the second phase from February 9 to February 11, 2024. Followers of Maulana Zobair will participate in the Ijtema’s first phase.
Biswa Ijtema of the Tablighi Jamaat has been held since 1967 on the banks of Turag, 22km north of Dhaka. It has been held in two phases since 2011.
Since 2018, supporters of the two groups have been participating in the Ijtema separately.
