Alhamdulilla. As of today February 8, 2024, a number of total 4,350 foreign guests are attending in various foreign tents at the World Ijtema February 9-11, 2024 Tongi Event. Ijtema will be officially starting on February 09, 2024 & ends on February 11, 2024 followed by duaa. Foreign guests number will be increasing InshaAllah. Last year this number was about 12,000.

The Tablighi followers around the world have been disappointed by the absence of the Amir of the world for the last 5 consecutive years. Even though 55 countries of the world have demanded the presence of the world Amir for the World Ijtema 2024 & send letters to the government of the Bangladesh. Although there are various protests in the country demanding the presence of the Amir, the government has been ignoring all these demands for the last 5 years.
So the presence of foreigners has dropped by 50% this year due to the government not taking any action.
