Ijtima is being organized in Ghasipura of Itkhedi from 29 November to 2 December. A large number of people from different parts of the country will reach Bhopal for this. These people will reach the venue from the railway station and various areas of the old city. On December 2, Dua ki Namaz will be held, after which there will be a possibility of heavy traffic on many roads of old Bhopal.
In such a situation, the traffic police has diverted the roads of the city. From 7 am on 29 November, all types of heavy vehicles, cargo vehicles, sand and gravel dumpers and mixers will be completely closed for traffic from Gol Jod Bairasia Road to Karound Chauraha.

There will be traffic pressure due to the movement of large number of people and vehicles in the areas like Mubarakpur to Patel Nagar New Bypass, Gandhi Nagar to Ayodhya Nagar Bypass, Ratnagiri, Lambakheda to Karond, Bhopal Talkies, Peergate, Moti Masjid, Royal Market, Lalghati Square, Nadara Bus Stand, Bhopal Main Railway Station, Alpana Tiraha, Bharat Talkies, Bogda Bridge etc. on the routes leading from Old Bhopal to Ijtima Sthal.
This will be the route for the station and the airport
- Vehicles going towards the airport will be able to reach the airport via Bhadbhada Square, Neelbad, Ratibad, Jhagaria Road, Khajuri Bypass, Mubarakpur Bypass.
- Vehicles going from Bhopal city towards the main railway station will be able to come towards platform-1 via Roshanpura, Link Road 2, Board Office, Chetak Bridge, Prabhat Chauraha, 80 feet road.
Diversion of passenger buses coming to Bhopal city
- Buses coming from Sagar, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Raisen, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Chhindwara and Betul will travel towards ISBT via 11 Mile, Misrod, RRL Tiraha, Habibganj Naka, Sanchi Milk Union. After ISBT, entry of passenger buses towards Nadra Bus Stand will be restricted.
- Buses coming from Indore to Bhopal will use Halalpur bus stand. Buses coming from Indore and Ujjain will end their journey from Khajuri bypass, Bairagarh to Halalpur bus stand. Entry towards Lalghati beyond Halalpur bus stand will be restricted.
- Buses coming from Guna, Rajgarh and Beawar will be able to go towards Halalpur bus stand via Shyampur, Parwalia, Mubarakpur bypass, Khajuri Road, Bairagarh.
- The buses coming from Vidisha side will terminate at Bhanpur Rotary via Sukhisewania, Chopra Bypass.
- The buses coming from Berasia side will terminate at Bairagarh Halalpur Bus Stand via Golkhedi to Tarasevania, Parwalia Road, Mubarakpur Bypass, Khajuri Bypass.
Diversion arrangements for heavy and other vehicles on 1 December
- From 10 pm on December 1, entry of all types of heavy goods vehicles into the city from the bordering districts of Bhopal will be completely banned.
- Heavy goods vehicles coming from Indore and Sehore will not be able to enter Bhopal. They will be stopped or diverted at the border of Sehore district.
- Vehicles coming from Guna and Rajgarh will be stopped at Beawar and diverted via Shyampur and Sehore.
- Heavy vehicles coming from Raisen, Salamatpur and Mandideep will be stopped at Mandideep and Raisen border.
- Light vehicles coming from Indore side, which want to go to Hoshangabad, will be able to go towards Misrod Road from Sehore via Jhagaria, Bhadbhada, Depot Square, Mata Mandir, Link Road No. 2, BJP Office and Mansarovar.
- General passenger vehicles coming from Berasia towards Bhopal will be able to enter Bhopal via Golkhedi, Ratatal, Tarasevania and Parwalia.
- During the programme, due to large number of people being on the roads in areas like Mubarakpur to Patel Nagar New Bypass, Gandhi Nagar to Ayodhya Nagar, Ratnagiri, Lambakheda to Karond, Bhopal Talkies, Railway Station etc., traffic will be diverted to diverted routes as per the need.
Route and parking arrangements for vehicles participating in the Ijtima
- Vehicles coming from Vidisha will be able to park their vehicles in the designated Ijtima parking via Lambakheda bypass intersection.
- Vehicles coming from Sehore, Rajgarh will be able to park their vehicles in the designated Ijtima parking via Mubarakpur Chauraha to Meena Chauraha bypass.
- Vehicles coming from Bhopal city will be able to park their vehicles in the designated Ijtima parking via Lambakheda bypass intersection.
- Vehicles coming from Berasia side will be able to park their vehicles in the designated Ijtima parking via Golkhedi junction.
