Is it 6 Shura from Six Regions | Are the special group/tabka Leader Brother Rashid pressurizes or manage our Nizamuddin Akabirs to become an American Shura?

The Tablighi Jamaat is a global movement with center Headquarters is Nizamuddin, Delhi, India and followers across many countries. Similarly, followers have their own centers across all 50 states in America, which consists 41 Halaqa and 6 Region. 

Key Figures:

Only Four National Shura are functioning within 50 States including North America.

(3) Dr. Khalid (Pakistan) 

(4) Aabir Rashid (Pakistan)

Key aspects of the Tablighi Jamaat Shura:

The Shura is intended to be a consultative body for major decisions within the Jamaat. 

Internal Divisions:

Some disagreements and conflicts have led to divisions within the American Tablighi Jamaat. There’s some special tabka (group) inside the 6 region. Regular workers are very worried and concerned about the Umamiath (Estamiyat) in America. This special group which is created by themselves between National Sura and regular workers. When there are joor/maswara/ijtema, the special group never stay with Umumi majma and are always staying with Sura Hazrats (eating, sleeping etc.) and with the Key Figure of Nizamuddin Ulema Hazrat. This Special group/tabka feel themselves superior than regular brothers. 

The recently concluded American World Ijtema has set a record in American history:

More than 30,000+ people gathered at the Chicago World Ijtema on June 27-29, 2025, in the presence of the World Tablighi Ameer. The general workers are expecting the announcement of a New National Shura Team from this highly successful Ijtema. 

Barriers between achievement and expectation due to Special/tabka group:

There is frustration and fear among General workers regarding the specific special group/tabka leader in the Region number One. 

This particular man is already highly criticized across the North America. Even though he has no credibility in his own region (NY) but he can seize the Shura position by managing one of the National Shuras in America and an Ulema from Nizamuddin.

If this happens, the work of Da’wah will be greatly harmed and chaos will arise among the Ummah. 

Conclusion:

General workers believe that instead of forming six shuras in six regions, shuras for people speaking different languages would increase the dynamism of the da’wah work. Example it could be One Shura from English American, One Shura from Urdu Language, One Shura form Bengali Language, One Shura from Arabic Language etc. We don’t want to see like Brother Rashid, the special group/tabka leader as an American Shura.
