The first Amir of the Tabligh Jamaat in Pakistan Muhammad Shafi Quraishi (RAH) was the Owner of this Historic “1940 Chrysler ROYALE” Car.
The Chrysler ROYALE 1940 was one of the most stylish and advanced luxury vehicles of its time. This beautiful automobile was manufactured by Chrysler Corporation between 1940 and 1942. It boasted a streamlined body style, featuring a low hood, rounded fenders, and a smoothly contoured roofline.
That time it was famous as The Cars Of the President Harry S Truman, who was 33rd American President.
From 1940-1944 the founder & the 1st Amir of Tabligh Jamaat Muhammad Ilyas Kandhlawi (RAH), then 2nd Amir Muhammad Yusuf Kandhlawi (RAH) & 3rd Amir Inamul Hasan Kandhlawi (RAH) used this special car for the purpose of Da’waah.
The 1st Amir of Pakistan Muhammad Shafi Quraishi (RAH) based in Bombay (aka Mumbai), who had joined the Tabligh effort while at Mumbai, had migrated from there to Pakistan after the Partition and had settled in Rawalpindi, a garrison town. He had been nominated as the first Amir of Tabligh in Pakistan by the Ilyas Kandhlawi (RAH), the founder & First Amir of Tabligh Jamaat.
As a memento of our three Hazratji, this special car is kept at the residence of the 4th Amir of Pakistan.
