This statement is to clarify previously shared information regarding Engineer Abdul Rashid and the Tabligh efforts in New York City.
According to the statement of the Regional Ameer, the change of the Shab-e-Jumma day in New York City was made through mashwarah (consultation). Ameer Abdul Badi Sahib consulted senior and experienced brothers of New York during a regional mashwarah held at Alhuda Masjid, Brooklyn. All opinions were carefully gathered and then presented at the National Mashwarah at the Dallas, USA Markaz, where the matter was discussed in detail and the decision to change the day was finalized.
It is acknowledged that a huge number of brothers in New York did not agree with this decision, and differences of opinion, which can occur in any collective effort.
I spoke with Regional Ameer Abdul Badi Sahib & Engineer Abdur Rashid Sahib. Both are responsible and respected persons. Both requested me to remove the previous post.
After conducting thorough research and verifying the facts, I have come to understand that Ameer Abdul Badi Sahib followed the consultative process.
In the interest of unity among the brothers and to strengthen the work of Tabligh under the guidance of the Nizamuddin World Markaz, Tabligh News 24 removed the previous posts. It is beloved to Allah (SWT) that the hearts of believers remain united, and that the work of Deen progresses with harmony and mutual respect.
I hold deep love and respect for the elders of Nizamuddin and have no personal issue. I make dua that Allah (SWT) accepts the efforts of all brothers and makes this work a means of guidance for the entire mankind.
