Road to DR Congo Ijtema August 2022! Your eyes will get wet with tears!

Karguzari of our brother Abdul Qadar from Democratic Republic of the Congo.

DR Congo

Road to DR Congo Ijtema August 2022.

An ijtema will be held, InshaAllah in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo on 5 – 7 August 2022.

Foreign and Local jamats are already moving throughout the DR Congo. Already 4 foreign brothers have died in the way of Allah in DR Congo since the beginning of this year.

The ameer of Bangalore, India jamat passed away during the last Ramazan in Kananga. The ameer of another jamat from India died a few days ago in Kalemie near Lake Tanganyika. A brother from Kenya jamat died earlier this year. A brother from Malaysian jamat fell ill in DR Congo and died in Kuala Lumpur on his way home. The DR Congo is a land of Qurbani (sacrifice).

Local (4 Month Jamat) crisscross the DR Congo on foot to attend Kinshasa Ijtema in August. Just watching these jamats (around 31 jamats at present) enter the Ijtema Gah (Ijtema Ground) in August is a scene not to be missed. They will make even the hard-hearted weep.

At this very moment, I visualize this scene with tears in my eyes. From eastern Congo, Bukavu, 2,000 km from Kinshasa, a jamat led by ameer, Molana Ismail Abdallah is already heading toward Kinshasa on foot. From Kisangani, another town in the east, 5 jamats (4 Month Jamat) are preparing for the journey on foot to the ijtema. Another 4 Month Jamat from Bukavu, made up entirely of young people, is preparing to start their journey to Kinshasa in a few days. Two jamats from Kindu, in eastern DR Congo, are already halfway to Kinshasa. They are now making efforts in Mbuji Mayi, central DR Congo, where they are preparing for the departure of 4 jamats from Mbuji Mayi to Kinshasa. In the city of Tshikapa 4 jamats (4 Month Jamat) including the Bangalore, India jamaat work for the Jod (gathering) in Tshikapa and Lunyeka. In Kananga, 260 km from Tshikapa, 4 Paidal Jamats (on Foot Jamat) prepared by the Bangalore jamat are already on their way to Kinshasa.

As the jamats move, they continue to grow along the way. As there is a lack of books, Fazail e Amaal and Muntakhab, jamats cannot be split to form new jamats. Some jamats have swelled to include up to 20 brothers.

Initially, the first Kananga jamat had only 6 brothers led by ameer, Yusuf Kadiebwe. The 2nd jamat was made up of 10 brothers led by Ismail Wamunakebe. The 3rd jamat of 10 brothers is headed by Abdullah Mbuyi. The 4th jamat of 14 brothers, led by brother Djibril Mulamba, heads toward Kinshasa via Ndemba, Mweka, Ilebo.

Jamats already on the way :

  • Kinshasa (Kongo Central, Kwilu included) : 18 jamats.
  • Kananga : 5 jamats.
  • Lunyeka : 2 jamats.
  • Kamuesha : 2 jamats.
  • Kindu : 2 jamats.
  • Bukavu : 2 jamats.

Currently, as indicated above, a total of 31 (local 4 Month Jamat) are on the move in DR Congo to prepare for the ijtema of August 5 – 7, 2022.

Other jamats of which we are not aware move in the villages because of the immensity of the country, 5,000 times larger than Mauritius.

We expect the number of jamats to reach 150 until the date of ijtema.

DR Congo

Dear brother, it is not easy to cry but if you want to shed your tears in the way of Allah, join a jamat that crosses the DR Congo for Ijtema on August 5 – 7.
