A man has been killed while he was doing his second Joula at Nilkhet Zilani market Masjid in the capital’s New-market area on Wednesday July 26, 2023 after Asr prayer.
The victim was identified as Md Samsul Haque (55) son of Munshi Sardar, hailed from Hazaribagh kulal mohol area in Dhaka. He was the follower of mainstream Tabligh Jammat, which is known as Tabligh Jammat Headquarters Nizamuddin, Delhi, India.
The incident took place around 5:30 pm. Terror group who are the supporter of Maulana Zubair suddenly attacked to Samsul Haque. Gaura (গাউরা) Anwar and Golam Sabbir Ershad & others who are with the link of terrorist Hefazat-e-Islam hit to Samsul Haque & critically injured him.
Later, he was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the duty doctor declared him dead around 7:00 pm.
At the time of reporting Tabligh News 365 contacted with the OC, Mr. Safiqul Islam, New Market Police Station. OC informed the FIR is going to be filed.
