Alhamdulilla. Ijtema officially started Today on Friday February 09, 2024 & ends on February 11, 2024. Maulana Ilyas bin Saad Kandhalvi, youngest son of World Tablighi Amir Maulana Saad Kandhalvi, delivered a speech in Urdu after Fajr prayers.
More over 2 million of Muslims from home and abroad offered Jummah prayers on the bank of the Turag River on Friday, the first day of the Bishwa Ijtema followed by Tabligh Headquarters Alami Markaz Banglewali Masjid Nizamuddin.
World Tablighi Amir Maulana Saad Kandhalvi’s eldest son, Yusuf bin Saad Kandhalvi, delivered the Jummah sermon at 1:35pm and led the prayer at 1:57pm.
Huge Tongi Ijtema ground was over crowded, there was no spaces, a large crowd attendees also participated in the prayers from the roofs of various high-rise buildings in Tongi, while many offered prayers on the nearby roads.
More than 6,000 foreigners from around 56 countries have joined Bishwa Ijtema at the beginning day. Yesterday the number of foreigners was 4,350.
Shaikh Mofle (Arab) was delivered a sermon after Jummah, Maulana Musharraf after Asr and Maulana Yusuf bin Saad after Maghrib.
