If we review the history of Bishwa Ijtema Bangladesh, the Historic Bhopal Ijtema, the historic record-breaking Aurangabad Ijtema, and most recently the Habsha, Ethiopia Ijtema of 2024, it can be seen that none of them were followed in the upcoming American Ijtema 2025, but rather “Technology Dajjal” was brought to the Chicago mosque (last concluded American National Mashwara Venue) in the American Ijtema.

The belief that “everything is by Allah, but people make it hard by their own” suggests a belief system where divine will ordains events, but human actions and choices significantly impact the experience and outcome of those events. This can be understood in the context of religious beliefs, where the ultimate authority rests with a higher power, yet individuals bear responsibility for their own decisions and actions.

Elaboration:

(1) Allah’s Will: (The term “Allah or Divine Will” refers to a concept that Allah’s will is the cause of everything that exists, which in Islam, the concept of Qadr).

Qadar, or preordainment, is a fundamental concept in Islam. It refers to Allah’s knowledge and decree of all things, past, present, and future. It suggests that all events, both positive and negative, are part of Allah’s divine plan.

The phrase “everything by Allah” points to a belief that all events, both positive and negative, are ultimately orchestrated or permitted by a divine entity. This belief can offer comfort in times of difficulty, as it suggests that even hardship is part of a larger divine plan.

(2) Jamaat @ Human Team for Ijtema Presentation:

In religious contexts, human agency refers to an individual’s ability to choose and act, making free will an essential aspect of the human experience. This capacity to choose is seen as a gift from God, crucial for learning, progress, and ultimately, salvation. The exercise of agency involves intentionality, forethought, self-reactiveness, and self-reflectiveness.

The phrase “people make it hard by their own” acknowledges that individuals have the capacity to make choices and actions that influence their experiences. This can be interpreted as a recognition of human responsibility for their own actions and their impact on the world around them.

(3) Differentiating Allah’s Will and Human Actions:

Our belief systems, like Islam, emphasize the importance of distinguishing between what is ordained by a divine power and what is a result of human choices and actions. This differentiation helps individuals navigate difficult situations by maintaining faith in divine wisdom while also acknowledging the impact of their own decisions.

(4) Acceptance and Resilience:

The belief that everything is part of a divine plan can foster acceptance of challenging situations. However, it is also crucial to acknowledge the role of Chicago Ijtema Preparation Jammat @ human team in creating or exacerbating these difficulties. By understanding this interplay, individuals may develop greater resilience and a deeper sense of responsibility for their own actions.
